Vanguard Way privacy policy
Summary and Overview
We respect the privacy of all users of the VGW
Photo Guide applications.
The VGW Photo Guide app (on GooglePLay
and the AppStore) retains no personal data.
The apps ask for permission to access your device’s
“location services” merely for the purpose of displaying your own position on
maps such as Google Maps or Apple Maps (i.e. the blue dot on the map).
No data whatsoever is passed back to our servers –
so we have no idea where you are. But
our app does attempt to show YOU where you are on its online maps.
The VGW Photo Guide App thus merely downloads up-to-date
guidance and photos to your device. No
data at all is passed back to our servers.
The VGW Photo Guide app also asks for permission to
access local data on your phone or tablet, in order to access its own
application folder – i.e. to access its own photos and guidance data. We don’t access any other data on your device.
